Introduction
Wyandotte Cottage is a stone built, Edwardian, 4 storey, terrace town house, it has 3/4 bedrooms, on road parking and small courtyard to rear. It is available for any length of stay and is a self catering property. There is not a ground floor bedroom or bathroom. There is a W.C. shower and basin in basement and a room with sofa bed.This area is only accessible down stone stairs. The full bathroom can be found on first floor again up a flight of carpeted stairs and also on the first floor is a double bedroom and bunk bed room.

The front door to Wyandotte Cottage is located directly from pavement (the surface of the pavement is stone flagstones,this is a conservation area) there is one low step from pavement to entrance hall of the cottage. Parking is on street in front of the cottage or just 60 metres around corner, again on street. The road has street lights, and has traffic running in both directions. A hall of residence for Stamford Girls School is opposite the cottage.
Main Entrance, Reception & Ticketing Area
• The entrance hall surface is vinyl floorcovering and this hall leads to sitting room, kitchen and at the end of hall a door leads to stairs to basement, there is a ceiling rose light fitting.Public Areas - Hall, Stairs, Landing, Corridors etc
• The stairs to basement are stone and there is not a handrail, the flooring in basement is stone flagstones. The stairs to first floor and second floor are carpeted and have a handrail (the stairs to second floor are narrower than usual. The landing is carpeted, bathroom and bedroom doors lead off from the landing area, there is no furniture or clutter on landing, but there is a fire exstinguisher and flourescent notice describing contents, There are fire exstinguishers on each floor. There are two plus a fire blaket in the kitchen all have reflective notices near to them.Public Areas - Sitting room, lounges, lobbies etc
• The sitting room has one brown leather 3/4 seater sofa and two arm chairs, a table with lamp and a table with information and telephone directories. There is T.V. with DVD and video. There is a large open fireplace, the fire is not to used by guests. There is a sash window, due to it being original and very frail we ask it only to be opened in an emergency. There is large pendant light fitting in the centre of the ceiling. There is a large mirror over the mantle piece.Public WCs
• There are two W.C.'s in the property they are not adapted for disability use.Restaurant / Dining Room, Bar & Bar area, Take Away & Cafe
• The dining room is to the rear of the property and has vinyl flooring rubber wood table and chairs and double doors which open outwards onto a small courtyard which has a small table and seating, plus a outside tap and door leading to passage, for security purposes this gate must be kept fastened and closed at all times apart from an emergency.Laundry
• There is a washer/tumble dryer in the understairs cupboard in the basement area.Bedrooms & Sleeping Areas
• The beds all have 100% cotton linen and all pillows and mattreses have quilted protectors. The towels provided are also cotton, all bedding is washed in Non Bio detergent and on a sanitary setting in an industrial washing machine.Bathroom, Shower-room & WC [Ensuite or Shared]
The bathrooms are simple and compact. The bath has grips to ease access in and out. The taps are not adapted for disabled use, there is a shaving point in the first floor bathroom. There is large wet room style shower in the basement bathroom (no bath).
Self-Catering Kitchen
The kitchen has doors to first floor stairs and back into entrance hall , there is an archway through to dining area. The cooker is all electric with solid electric 4 ring hob. The is an extractor fan above. There are 4 downlighters in the ceiling There is a belfast sink and dishwasher, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster. The gas combi boiler is in a pine cupboard in the kitchen it must not be touched at any time. The work surfaces are beech solid wood, floor has pitched pine floorboards whch are scrubbed and not varnished. There is roman blind over the sink dressing the kitchen window.
Additional Information
My team is always available if you require any additional information during your stay, dogs are welcome but not allowed to be left unattended at anytime during your stay. The house is all non smoking including all bedrooms.
